About Frater M.T.O.
Frater M.T.O. has been a practicing Alchemist, Magician, and Occultist for over forty years, approaching alchemy as a living, operative science — one that unites laboratory practice and inner transformation through disciplined study, patience, and sustained experience.
He is a member of the International Alchemy Guild, having completed both the Guild’s Alchemy Study Program as well as the Philosophers of Nature coursework. He serves as Praemonstrator and Chief Adept of the Order of the Golden Dawn in the Outer, guiding students in the foundational principles of Western esoteric practice, initiation, and inner alchemy.
His areas of practice include talismanic magic, Enochian magic, evocation, spagyric medicine, and spiritual transformation — each approached with the same rigor and relational depth that defines his work as a whole.
He is the creator of Alembic Alchemy, a long-running alchemy blog with thousands of subscribers, and the founder of an online alchemy academy dedicated to serious students of the Great Work.
